Youth Service involves projects to benefit children in our community, including youth forums, adopt-a-class, vocational presentations to high school students, mentoring, Dictionary Project, school supply drives, and helping children better understand Rotary's purpose.
We have been particularly involved with the Stuart Community High School where we provide weekly Roundtable discussions with students. Our members provide incite into their professions, including what steps were needed to obtain the career and what types of activities their career involves. Students are always full of questions and provide excellent input at these roundtables.
We have also actively supported the Indiantown Teen Parent Center, which is part of Martin County Schools. Expecting teen parents and teen parents are provided an education while being able to have their babies present. Our Club has provided the new/young mothers with necessities for their educations and for their babies.
