STUART SUNRISE ROTARY KIDS FISHING DAY
Each year the Stuart Sunrise Rotary Club works with the Sailfish Club to make sure underprivileged children in our community have an opportunity to learn how to fish. Children for Kids Fishing Day are identified by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Martin County, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Martin County.
After providing kids with the necessary fishing gear for their trip, boats are chartered with skilled staff to take the children out to the ocean or for a day of fishing on the river depending on the weather. Many fish are caught and the kids and adults alike learn alot on each trip.
Stuart Sunrise Rotary Club has been providing children with fishing opportunities in Martin County for well over 10 years and each time is a fun adventure for all involved.
